Directors Circle Logo

Charleston Stage’s donor society offering year-round access, artist engagement, and behind-the-scenes experiences.

The Director’s Circle is Charleston Stage’s annual membership for those who want a deeper connection to the work happening both onstage and behind the scenes.

Director’s Circle members are invited into the room where it happens. Through gatherings with artists, behind-the-scenes access, and special events throughout the season, members experience the creative life of Charleston Stage in a more personal way.

Members enjoy unique access to Charleston Stage productions while also helping sustain the work that reaches beyond the stage.

At Charleston Stage — where creativity thrives and our community comes together — the Director’s Circle offers a meaningful way to experience theatre while supporting the work that makes it possible.

It’s not simply about attending a performance.
It’s about having a place in the room where it happens.

Why Director’s Circle Matters

Support from Director’s Circle members helps sustain Charleston Stage’s work both onstage and in the community.

Each year, Charleston Stage serves nearly 100,000 patrons and students through performances, education programs, touring productions, and TheatreSchool classes across the Lowcountry.

Director’s Circle members help ensure that live theatre remains accessible, vibrant, and part of the cultural life of our community.

Gatherings & Experiences

Director’s Circle members are invited to special events throughout the season that bring supporters, artists, and creative teams together.

Opening Night receptions are held for each MainStage production, offering members the opportunity to gather before the performance. For those who prefer a different time, Closing Matinee brunches take place on the final Sunday of each run.

Additional invitations throughout the year include dress rehearsals, artist conversations, and behind-the-scenes experiences that offer insight into how Charleston Stage productions come to life.
