From two-time Oscar winner Horton Foote, writer of the award-winning screenplay for To Kill A Mockingbird, comes an original work that earned the late Cecily Tyson a Tony Award for her Broadway performance in The Trip To Bountiful. This warm, moving play tells the story of 80-year-old Carrie Watts, who longs to leave the cramped, urban apartment she shares with her son and daughter-in-law in Houston, in hopes of journeying back to her childhood home of Bountiful, Texas.
