Adopt-a-Seat In Charleston Stage's New West Ashley Theatre Center's 130-Seat Performance Space

Though Charleston Stage’s MainStage and Family Series performances will always remain at our home, the Historic Dock Street Theatre, our new West Ashley Theatre Education Center, which houses our extensive education programs, features a 130-seat performance space. This exciting new theatre education facility includes classrooms, dance and rehearsal studios, a recording studio, and a 130-seat performance space. The performance space is known as “The Pearl”, or the Pearlstine Theatre in recognition of a very generous $250,000 lead gift from the Pearlstine Family. Additional funds are still needed to underwrite other equipment and upfit costs for this exciting new theatre education and performance facility. We invite you to adopt-a-seat and support this imaginative new performance venue and education space. The West Ashley Theatre Center at Ashley Landing is now open.

To finance the seats in this new space you’re invited to adopt-a-seat. Seats range from $10,000 for front row seats, $5,000 for tier one seats, $1,000 for tier two seats, $500 for tier three seats, and $200 for a lobby bench. An engraved plaque will be placed on your donated seat. Your seat contribution is fully tax-deductible.
