Charleston Stage, in residence at the Historic Dock Street Theatre and celebrating its 46th season, is South Carolina’s largest Resident Professional theater company and one of South Carolina's leading arts institutions. Charleston Stage's 46th season includes six MainStage productions, two Family Series shows, and a series of education programs that reach over 20,000 youth annually. The company operates with a full-time staff of 37 and a budget of $3.8 million dollars.

 

 

SALES MANAGER

Charleston Stage, South Carolina’s largest professional theatre company, in residence at the Historic Dock Street Theatre, seeks a Sales Manager who will lead the company in ticket sales and strategies. This will include managing group and school sales, leading day-of operations for school matinee performances and engaging in community outreach to develop new audiences. Responsibilities also include sales reporting, using data to assist with strategic business decisions as they relate to ticket sales/operations, and management of the PatronManager database. Goals of this position include increasing ticket sales and supporting Box Office and ticket operations to maximize efficiency and patron experience. You should have 1-3 years of experience working in the arts industry or a non-profit setting. Some responsibilities include assistance in creating and managing the production of marketing collateral for print and digital, helping with the organization of communications, aid in expanding social media following and engagement, and providing project-specific administrative support. You should have 1-3 years of experience working in marketing.
