A Christmas Carol was the very first show Charleston Stage produced, back in 1978, and it has grown into the company's best-selling production of all time.
This isn't the version you've seen elsewhere. It was written for Charleston Stage by founder Julian Wiles, with spirits that soar above the Dock Street stage and a live orchestra.
Charles Dickens published A Christmas Carol in 1843, and it has never once gone out of print.
