Creative Drama Musical Theatre Ages 4 5

This class is designed for our youngest performers and is the perfect introduction to the world of musical theatre. Through singing, creative movement, and imaginative play, students will begin building the confidence and joy of performing in a warm, nurturing environment. Each session is full of fun and wonder, with plenty of room to share what they've created.

 
Learning Objectives:
  • Explore rhythm and melody through simple songs and musical play
  • Develop gross motor skills with movement and dance exercises
  • Engage with books and stories to spark imagination and literacy connections
  • Practice listening and following directions in a supportive environment
  • Encourage self-expression and creativity through storytelling and role-play
  • Foster social skills by interacting with peers in group activities

This class introduces students to the building blocks of musical theatre: singing, dancing, and acting! Through fun games, creative movement, and storytelling, students will grow in confidence while learning how to shine on stage as a true “triple threat.” No experience needed—just big imaginations!

  • Explore rhythm, melody, and vocal expression through songs
  • Enhance coordination, balance, and movement skills through dance games
  • Strengthen listening, focus, and memory through theatre exercises
  • Encourage imaginative play and character creation
