Charleston Stage, now in its 45th Season in residence at the Historic Dock Street Theatre, is South Carolina’s largest resident professional theatre company. Producing 10 full-scale productions each season and education programs that reach over 20,000 youth annually. Charleston Stage is one of South Carolina’s leading arts institutions. The company operates with a full-time staff of 33 and budget of $3.5 million dollars.

Charleston Stage, South Carolina’s largest professional theatre company, in residence at the Historic Dock Street Theatre, seeks candidates for Box Office Associate positions during the 2022-23 season. Candidates should be dependable and tech savvy and have a great attitude for customer service. Retail experience and love of performing arts are a plus. These are seasonal, hourly paid positions with afternoon, night, and weekend shifts available (July/August 2022 - May 2023). The possibility to extend hours beyond May 2023 may be available for high performing associates. Shifts typically consist of 2 or 4 hours and will be located in Downtown Charleston. Hourly rate is $15 per hour. Interviews to take place June 13 - 17, 2022.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing customer service and processing ticket orders both in person and over the phone, managing a cash box, renewing season memberships and assisting with marketing efforts. ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

 
Charleston Stage, South Carolina’s largest professional theatre company, in residence at the Historic Dock Street Theatre, seeks an Associate Director of Development to help grow donor relations and our philanthropy program. Duties include managing our Director’s Circle opening night society program, researching, and creating proposals for new donor prospects, working on various donor events, donor ticketing and more. Some responsibilities include assistance in creating and managing the production of marketing collateral, helping with the organization of communications, aid in expanding social media following and engagement, and providing project-specific administrative support.
