Cast Biographies (In Alphabetical Order)
JACK BEAUDROT (Ensemble)
Jack is a 9th grade student at West Ashley High School. He is thrilled to be working with Charleston Stage again this year. Jack has been a member of Charleston Stage’s Performance Troupe since 4th grade. Jack has appeared in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, A Christmas Story, Beneath the Sweet Grass Moon, A Christmas Carol, and Number the Stars. Jack sings in the choir and plays hand bells at church. He is active in the youth group and serves on the leadership team. Jack enjoys listening to music, fishing, and playing baseball. Jack is extremely excited to be in Nevermore with such a talented cast. Jack would like to thank everyone from Charleston Stage along with friends and family for their support and guidance.
JAVARON CONYERS (Ensemble)
Javaron Conyers is an alumnus from the College of Charleston, where he pursued a B.A. in Theatre for Youth. His most recent theatre credits include: Footloose (Charleston Stage), The Why (Pure Theatre), Hair (What If? Productions), Beauty and The Beast (Charleston Stage), 1940s Radio Hour (Footlight Players), Night Of The Living Dead (Woolfe Street Playhouse), Mamma Mia! (Charleston Stage), Chore Monkeys (College of Charleston/Spoleto Festival), Sugar In Grits (MOJA), Into the Woods (College of Charleston), Singin’ In The Rain (Footlight Players), The Little Mermaid (Charleston Stage), RENT (College of Charleston), Rocky-Horror Picture Show (College of Charleston), White Christmas (Charleston Stage), Hairspray (Charleston Stage), and Guys and Dolls (Catawba College). He would like to give special to Charleston Stage for another great season!
KATELYN CRALL (Ensemble)
Katelyn Crall is a Season 42 Professional Resident Actor and is so excited to be embarking upon this production of Nevermore with it’s exceptional team. Katelyn is originally from Saratoga, New York, and has just graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. She has recently been seen as Urlene in Footloose past season and will be in many more productions coming up. Favorite past roles include: Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), Cabaret (Kost / Kit Kat Girl), That Face (Martha), Spring Awakening (Adult Woman track), and Noises Off! (Dotty/ Clackett). As always, all her love to the incredible support system that surrounds her.
MARY KATE FOLEY (Ensemble)
Mary Kate, originally from the Philadelphia area, is thrilled to return for a second season as a Professional Resident Actor! Favorite credits include: Footloose (Ariel), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Steel Magnolias (Annelle), Mamma Mia! (Lisa), and Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! (Junie B. Jones). Other credits include: Ivy in Ivy + Bean (Walnut Street Theatre). She is a proud graduate of the Temple University musical theatre program and is forever grateful for the support of her wonderful friends and family!
JUSTIN GASKILL (Ensemble)
Justin, originally from Somers Point, NJ, is a graduate of Wilkes University where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. Some favorite performance credits include: Emcee in Cabaret, Al in A Chorus Line, Pippin in Pippin, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and John Proctor in The Crucible. Justin is very excited to join Charleston Stage’s Professional Resident Acting Company as he continues to grow as a performer.
JULIA KELLY-DAVIS (Annabel Lee)
Julia, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, is a recent graduate of Arizona State University where she received her B.M. in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Lilli Vanessi/Kate in Kiss Me, Kate, Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde, Gingy in Shrek: the Musical, Carrie White in Carrie: the Musical, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Cosette in Les Misérables. ANTHONY LAZZARO (Captain Jeremiah Reynolds)
Anthony, originally from Buffalo, NY, is a recent SUNY Fredonia graduate with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. His favorite credits include: The Light in the Piazza (Fabrizio), Sweeney Todd (Anthony), Anything Goes (Billy Crocker), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), and Spring Awakening (Otto). He is thrilled to be joining the Charleston Stage’s Professional Resident Acting Company and is extremely grateful for the endless love and support from his family and friends.
ELAN LEVINE (Ensemble)
Having taken Charleston Stage classes since kindergarten, Elan Levine, a current senior at Academic Magnet High School, is thrilled to be a part of this season! He has enjoyed roles both on and off stage in multiple productions. Some of his favorite roles include: Ralphie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ollie Herdman, Leroy Herdman, and Nurse/Fireman in three separate productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Schwartz in A Christmas Story, Gander in Charlotte’s Web, Noah in Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, the Assistant Stage Manager for Junie B. in Jingle Bells Batman Smells, and multiple performances as part of the Charleston Stage Performance Troupe and TheatreWings Acting Concentration. Elan would like to thank his friends and family for their support as well as the Charleston Stage team for helping him to become the actor he is today!
TERALYN REITER (Ensemble)
Teralyn earned her M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Montana and has had the privilege to travel throughout the United States, Europe and Asia performing and teaching theatre. Teralyn landed in Charleston in 2011 and founded Storytree Children’s Theatre, which focuses on bringing performances and theatre education into the schools in the Tri-county area. She most recently appeared as Truvy in Charleston Stage’s Steel Magnolias and as Lady Visitor/Mayor’s Wife/Ensemble in A Christmas Carol. She is forever grateful for the support and humor of her husband and hilarious son.
LUKE SHAW (Young Edgar Allan Poe)
Luke is a senior theatre major at School of the Arts and is entering his 13th year with Charleston Stage. Charleston Stage has always been a safe place for him and without it and the friends he has made through it, he would’ve been a much different person. He’d like to thank the staff for the countless lessons he’s been taught: persistence, time management, how to be apart of an ensemble, and how to juggle. He’d like to thank Marybeth Clark, Julian Wiles, Jesse Siak, Sam Henderson, Ashley Palmer, and the many Professional Resident Actors through the years, who have all been mentors for him. And of course, Luke would like to thank his family for their constant support and the many years of rides to and from rehearsal.
JESSE SIAK (Edgar Allan Poe)
Jesse is Charleston Stage’s Assistant Director of Education. Jesse holds a B.A. in Theatre Education from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. He has taught all over North and South Carolina, most notably at Flat Rock Playhouse (Flat Rock, NC) and South Carolina Children’s Theatre (Greenville, SC). At Charleston Stage, Jesse helps run and teach the Performance Troupe Classes, serves as the TheatreWings High School Apprentice Program Coordinator, heads Charleston Stage’s in-school arts integration workshops, helps coordinate and train the Resident Actors, directs, and acts when he can! Directing credits include: The Best Christmas Ever (two times...so far), Shear Madness (Two times...so far), The Miracle Worker, Anne of Green Gables, The Giver, To Kill a Mockingbird, Number the Stars, and Steel Magnolias. Favorite Charleston Stage Roles include: Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (Young Frankenstein), Henry (Next to Normal), Benjamin Cohen (The Underpants), George (Of Mice and Men), Dr. Watson (Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure), Jacob Marley and Others (A Christmas Carol), Phil Davis (White Christmas), Corny Collins (Hairspray), and William Shakespeare (Shakespeare in Love).
COLIN WATERS (Captain Amos Nimrod)
Colin is ecstatic to be returning to Charleston Stage for his second season as a Professional Resident Actor. Originally from outside of Cincinnati, OH, Colin got his B.F.A. in Acting and double minor in Musical Theatre and Arts Administration from Western Kentucky University. Some of Colin’s favorite Charleston Stage credits include: Lennie in Of Mice and Men, Willard in Footloose, LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, The Ghost Of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol, Voice 4 in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and Mikey in Shear Madness. Other credits include: Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls, Jack in Into the Woods, and Seymour in Little Shop Of Horrors. Colin can’t wait for another incredible season with Charleston Stage.
STEPHAN JOQUAN WILSON (Ensemble)
Stephan is a proud product of Flint, MI, and recent graduate of Central Michigan University, with a B.F.A. in Music Theatre. “Fire Up Chips!” You may have seen him recently in the Season 42 opener, Footloose (Cowboy Bob/Bickle). His other credits include: The Whipping Man (Simon), Spring Awakening (Moritz), Pippin (Leading Player), A Chorus Line (Ritchie), Oklahoma! (Cord Elam), Hair (Steve), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney). He is grateful for the love and support from his family and friends, which has inspired him to follow his dreams. Stephan is happy to be a part of this season’s Professional Resident Acting Company, and has truly enjoyed all the hospitality here in the Lowcountry!
LILY WOZNIAK (Young Annabel Lee)
Lily is currently a senior in high school at Palmetto Scholars Academy. She has been a part of Charleston Stage’s TheatreWings program since her freshman year and is currently in the Acting Concentration. Most recently Lily was a dresser in Beauty and the Beast. Lily has performed in some small showcases with Charleston Stage but this is her first MainStage show and she is super excited about it! She would like to thank Charleston Stage for helping her to grow as a performer and giving her so many opportunities to follow her passion.
