join us for OUR free citystage tour of treasure island!
This May, Charleston Stage will be presenting a FREE fully staged, professional production of Robert Lewis Stevenson’s pirate classic, Treasure Island. This is a free hour-long family musical comedy production, produced as a part of Charleston Stage’s free CityStage Community Tour. Treasure Island features professional performers from Charleston Stage’s Resident Acting Company and a rousing score of Gilbert and Sullivan pirate songs. Familiar swashbuckling pirate characters such as Long John Silver, Billy Bones, and Blind Pew will take to the stage in this hilarious rip-roaring pirate romp. The production features colorful costumes, brilliant lights, and dazzling sets on a grand outdoor stage.
Patrons do not have to reserve tickets for any of the tour performances. Just bring your friends and family, some cozy blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy a free live performance of Treasure Island outside! We hope to see you there!
