Charleston Stage has one of the oldest and largest arts education programs for young people in the region. Led by Rylee Coppel, Director of Education and Engagement, and by Colin Waters, Education Program Manager, Charleston Stage's TheatreSchool classes are taught by ten full-time professional actors who make up the Resident Acting Company. These actor/educators join Charleston Stage for a 12-month artist-in-residence and teacher training program. They perform in leading roles throughout the season while also teaching youth theatre classes and ArtReach Workshops in local schools.

 

Raymond CronleyRAYMOND CRONLEY

Raymond is jazzed to be back at Charleston Stage for his second year as a Resident Actor! Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Raymond graduated in 2021 from Ohio Northern University with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Previous credits include Young Frankenstein (Frederick), Sunday in the Park with George (George), The Addams Family: A New Musical (Lucas), and JFK and Inga Binga (Jack). Camryn DuckworthCAMRYN DUCKWORTH

Camryn is beyond excited to be joining Charleston Stage as a Season 47 Resident Actor! Camryn is a Charlotte native who was previously based in New York City. Some of her credits include Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding (Sister Albert Maria), Urinetown (Little Sally), Cedar Point Amusement Park (Performer), and she was most recently a TYA company member of The Panto Touring Company. Kelsie EngenKELSIE ENGEN

Kelsie (she/her/hers) is beyond thrilled to join the Resident Acting Company at Charleston Stage! Kelsie grew up performing in Seattle and had the opportunity to be in productions such as A Christmas Story (Ensemble/ On-Stage Swing) at the 5th Avenue Theatre, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Ensemble) at Seattle Children’s Theatre. She earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of Utah. While in college, she performed in regional productions of Elf (Ensemble) and Hello, Dolly! (Ensemble/ Ermengarde U.S.) at Pioneer Theatre Company. Some favorite roles include: The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Into the Woods (Little Red), Shrek (Fiona), Urinetown (Little Sally for round 1, Hope for round 2). Facia LeeFACIA LEE

Facia is back at Charleston Stage like she never left. She is from the Jacksonville area of Florida and has been performing since she was about six years old. Her favorite credits include Once on This Island (Ti Moune and Erzulie), The Scottish Play (Macduff) and Fat Ham (Opal). She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Theatre with Concentration in Music. She would like to thank all of her loved ones near and far for their support.

 

 

Arrione MageeARRIONE MAGEE

Arrione is thrilled to join Charleston Stage as a Resident Actor for Season 47! Recent credits include Legally Blonde (Serena), Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville (Tammy), The Crucible (Tituba), and She Kills Monsters (Vera/Evil Gabbi). Arrione is a 2024 graduate of Jacksonville University with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts. Sam is so excited to join Charleston Stage! Sam is a proud Portlandian hailing from Oregon. Previous credits include Bonnie and Clyde (Ted), Once Upon A Mattress (Minstrel), In Pieces (Charlie), and Jesus Christ Superstar (King Herod). He just received his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and B.A. in Math from Texas Christian University. KAMERON ROJAS-SCHUENEMANKameron Rojas-Schueneman

Kameron could not be more excited to be part of Charleston Stage’s 47th Season! An actor, director, and teaching artist from the Chicago suburbs, Kam graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University’s School of Theatre Arts in 2024 with his B.F.A. in Acting. Previous credits include A Chorus Line (Paul), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Mauritius (Dennis), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), and Into the Woods (Jack). Dominick is elated to be returning for Charleston Stage’s 47th Season! Originally from Ridgefield, CT, Dominick is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University where he received his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, as well as the 2020 WCSU Theatre Arts Acting Award. Abigail (Abby) is absolutely thrilled to join Charleston Stage for their 47th Season this year! Originally from Allentown, New Jersey, Abby recently earned her B.A. in Theatre from DeSales University in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Some of her previous and most favorite credits include Maria (The Sound of Music), Drowsy (The Drowsy Chaperone), Olivia (Twelfth Night), and Mick’s Pick (Steel Pier) at Surflight Theatre. Abby is incredibly grateful for the continued support of her four sisters, twin brother, wonderful parents, friends, and her DeSales family.
