K-1ST Musical Theatre

 
This full-year class is specially designed for our youngest stars, Kindergarten and 1st graders, to introduce them to the joys of singing, dancing, and acting in a playful and nurturing environment.

Young performers will:


  • Sing: Learn simple and catchy songs, focusing on basic vocal techniques and having fun with music.
  • Dance: Discover basic dance moves and rhythms, using imaginative play and easy-to-follow choreography.
  • Act: Engage in creative storytelling and role-playing, bringing favorite characters and stories to life.

Each class will include a variety of warm-ups, games, and activities that encourage self-expression, creativity, and social interaction. Our approach ensures that every child feels comfortable and excited to participate, fostering a love for the performing arts from an early age.

  • No prior musical theatre experience is necessary. Students should come to class with enthusiasm, an open mind, and a willingness to participate in group activities. Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for movement are recommended.

 
This class will perform as part of Playfest in March 2025. Specific schedule TBD. 

 

 

k-1st Creative drama
