Harry BaxleyHARRY BAXLEY (Peter Cratchit / Townsperson / Homeless)
Harry is thrilled to be back at Dock Street Theater again this year playing Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol! Harry made his Dock Street debut in fall 2022 as Pugsley in The Addams Family and also played Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol last year. Harry is an 8th grade student at Charleston County School of the Arts (SOA) and is studying Voice. He's been passionate about musical theater ever since he was very young and has performed in several local productions, including Elf - The Musical, The Lion King, Madagascar and Matilda, The Musical. This past year, Harry played Horton in Horton is a Who with Charleston Stage as well as Friedrich in SOA’s recent production of The Sound of Music. Harry studies theater with Charleston Stage as a member of Troupe and attended Interlochen Arts Camp which was the highlight of his summer! Harry is very grateful for this opportunity to perfect his craft and is thrilled for any opportunity to perform!  
                        

Charlie ChewningCHARLIE CHEWNING (Ignorance / Belle's Daughter 1 / Townsperson / Homeless)
Charlie is thrilled to be stepping out onto the Dock Street Stage for the second time reprising her role in A Christmas Carol! Charlie has been performing since she could walk and talk- a natural born entertainer! She is “DNA funny” and loves to make people laugh. Charlie is a trained vocalist with a mezzo-soprano voice and a songwriter. She is an artist and all around creative. Charlie has been modeling and on-camera acting since she was a toddler, appearing in commercials for Disney World, Google, Elf on the Shelf, Graco, and Food City and can be seen in print ads around the globe! She has also performed in Giselle with the American Ballet Theatre. Charlie has a magnetic personality who radiates light and encompasses those around her with her positive energy. When she is not performing or creating she enjoys being adventurous; riding her skateboard and dirt bike, golf, swimming, boating and playing with her 3 brothers. Xanie ClemensXANIE CLEMENS (Zebediah Hanks / Billy Bones / Ghoul / The Ghost of Christmas Future / Townsperson)
(They/Them/Theirs) Xanie is thrilled to return to Charleston Stage in A Christmas Carol for a second time! This is Xanie’s fourth production with Charleston Stage and they are delighted to perform with such a talented group! Xanie was last seen as Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof. Xanie is currently at the top of their class in college and in their free time they can be found attending a local barre studio. They would like to thank their friends, family, and past directors for their encouragement and support in their theatre career.

 

Raymond CronleyRAYMOND CRONLEY (Fred)
Raymond is jazzed to be back at Charleston Stage for his second year as a Resident Actor! Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Raymond graduated in 2021 from Ohio Northern University with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Previous credits include Young Frankenstein (Frederick), Sunday in the Park with George (George), The Addams Family: A New Musical (Lucas), and JFK and Inga Binga (Jack). Camryn DuckworthCAMRYN DUCKWORTH (Martha Cratchit / Schoolmistress / Homeless)
Camryn is beyond excited to be joining Charleston Stage as a Season 47 Resident Actor! Camryn is a Charlotte native who was previously based in New York City. Some of her credits include Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding (Sister Albert Maria), Urinetown (Little Sally), and she was most recently seen at Charleston Stage in A Year With Frog and Toad (Bird Girl 1) and Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble/Hodel Cover). Liz DurenLIZ DUREN (Mrs. Tabor / The Ghost of Christmas Present)
Liz is an award-winning author and playwright and a proud recipient of the Best of Charleston 2020 for the play she wrote and performed in the 2019 Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Liz has been acting for Charleston Stage since 1985. Her favorite roles have been numerous but if she had to choose it would be Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, and most recently Dotty in Noises Off.

 

 

Kelsie EngenKELSIE ENGEN (Belle / Mrs. Worthington / Townsperson / Homeless)
Kelsie is beyond thrilled to be a Resident Actor at Charleston Stage this season! Kelsie grew up performing in Seattle and had the opportunity to be in productions such as A Christmas Story (Ensemble/ On-Stage Swing) at the 5th Avenue Theatre, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Ensemble) at Seattle Children’s Theatre. She earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of Utah. While in college, she performed in regional productions of Elf (Ensemble) and Hello, Dolly! (Ensemble/ Ermengarde U.S.) at Pioneer Theatre Company. Some favorite roles include: The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Into the Woods (Little Red), Shrek (Fiona), Urinetown (Little Sally for round 1, Hope for round 2). Jacob FeightJACOB FEIGHT (Mr. Worthington / Robin Hood / Belle's Husband / Mourner 3)
Jacob is excited to make his return to Charleston Stage after his time in the TheaterWings Apprentice Program. Some of his credits include The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Christopher), Helium (Ethan), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), and Les Misérables (Jean Valjean). Jacob studied musical theater at New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts and would like to extend his gratitude to his mother for “her never ending support and love in all endeavors."

 

Caroline FisherCAROLINE FISHER (Want / Belle's Daughter 2 / Townsperson / Homeless)
Caroline was born in Colorado but has grown up in Charleston. She attends School of the Arts middle school. Caroline has participated in Charleston Stage education programming since kindergarten and has been a member of Troupe for four years. This is Caroline's 3rd performance at the Dock Street Theatre and she loves the experience, in particular the encouraging environment and getting to learn new things each day from her director and the Resident actors all while making new friends along the way.

 

Gianna GavinsGIANNA GAVINS (Boy Scrooge / Oliver Twist / Townsperson / Homeless)
Gianna "Gigi" Gavins is a wonderful, funny, and energetic 12-year-old who is full of talent and imagination! She attends South Carolina Connections Academy and is in the 6th grade gifted and talented class. Gianna has been a member of Charleston Stage since 2021, and previously worked with Charleston Stage's productions: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Emma Hopkins), Once on this Island (Little Ti Moune), and Finding Nemo Jr. (Crush). Born in Charleston, she has been showcasing her love for entertainment and has been dancing, singing, and acting from a very young age. Her light shines when she enters the room and her natural ability to entertain is automatically recognized. Gianna loves and is excited about her future in many more venues and working with many great entertainers of all ages.

Connor HaganCONNOR HAGAN (Debtor / Dick Wilkins / Ghoul / Townsperson / Homeless)
Connor is grateful to be making his return to Charleston Stage. He studied Musical Theatre at AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York, and currently studies vocals at Megli Voice Studio. Some of his previous credits include: Cabaret (Emcee), Heathers the Musical (JD), A Chorus Line (Paul), The Glass Menagerie (Tom), and Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble). Serenity JonesSERENITY JONES (Female Onstage Swing / Ensemble)
Serenity is ecstatic to be performing her first show at Charleston Stage! Her passion for theatre began in Germany when she was just six years old where she played the part of a pumpkin in Missoula Children’s Theatre Cinderella. Since then she has graduated from The University of Mississippi and has had the opportunity to play a variety of roles such as, Titania in Midsummer Night Dream and Cathy in Last Five Years. She loves adventure and was even a vocalist for Shanghai Disney! In her free time Serenity enjoys writing and being with family. Thank you Charleston Stage for this opportunity! Psalms 130:5

 

Caroline LantzCAROLINE LANTZ (Fan / Belinda Cratchit / Ghoul / Townsperson / Homeless)
Caroline is a 7th grade student at Ashley Hall with a passion for Musical Theater stemming from seeing the Macy's Thanksgiving parade as an infant. She is thrilled to be reprising the roles of Fan and Belinda Cratchit for the Charleston Stage production of A Christmas Carol. Caroline has been a member of Charleston Stage since the 2nd grade and feels fortunate to have learned from so many talented teachers and performers. This past summer Caroline earned a spot in the prestigious Juilliard Summer Academy where she performed with actors from all over the world. In addition, Caroline spent a week in London with the West End stage group where she performed at the Royal Majesty's Theatre. In her free time, she plays the violin, studies ballet, and was a member of a championship volleyball team. In 2022, she made her Dock Street Theatre debut in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Caroline is proud to be performing on one of the oldest stages in America and she is grateful to all those who have inspired her love of acting.

Facia LeeFACIA LEE (Lady Visitor 1 / Homeless / Fezziwig Daughter / Ghoul / Debtor's Wife)
Facia is back at Charleston Stage like she never left! She is from the Jacksonville area of Florida and has been performing since she was about six years old. Her favorite credits include Once on This Island (Ti Moune and Erzulie), The Scottish Play (Macduff) and Fat Ham (Opal). She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Theatre with Concentration in Music. You can catch her in some great shows this season including Legally Blonde. She would like to thank all of her loved ones for their support.

 

Arrione MageeARRIONE MAGEE (Mrs. Cratchit / Mrs. Fezziwig / Homeless)
Arrione is thrilled to join Charleston Stage as a Resident Actor for Season 47! She was previously seen in A Year With Frog and Toad (Mouse/Young Frog/ Mole) and Fiddler On The Roof (Chava) here at Charleston Stage. Other recent credits include Legally Blonde (Serena), Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville (Tammy), The Crucible (Tituba), and She Kills Monsters (Vera/Evil Gabbi). Sam MajorsSAM MAJORS (Male Onstage Swing / Ensemble / Dance Captain)
Sam is so excited to join Charleston Stage! He is a proud Portlandian hailing from Oregon. Sam was just seen in Purlie Victorious as Charlie and in Fiddler On the Roof as Motel. Previous credits include Bonnie and Clyde (Ted), Once Upon a Mattress (Minstrel), In Pieces (Charlie), and Jesus Christ Superstar (King Herod). He just received his B.F.A. In Musical Theatre and B.A. in Math from Texas Christian University. Sam is so grateful for his time at TCU and would like to thank Joseph, his family, and Twyla for all of their help getting here. @officially_samm

 

Brianna McClureBRIANNA MCCLURE (Tiny Tim)
Brianna is excited to perform for a second time as “Tiny Tim” with Charleston Stage in A Christmas Carol. Brianna is a 4th grader and third generation student at Edith L. Frierson Elementary. She is a member of the Charleston Stage Performance Troupe where she performed in Finding Nemo (Squirt) and is also a member of the YMCA of Greater Charleston Y Dance program. Brianna enjoys writing, reading, dancing, crocheting, and all things Harry Potter. She cherishes “cousin time”, family gatherings, and play dates with friends. Brianna thanks Charleston Stage for this opportunity to perform and for providing her a welcoming environment to grow in the arts. 

 

Henry Clay MiddletonHENRY CLAY MIDDLETON (Ebenezer Scrooge)
Clay debuted with Charleston Stage as Tom Robinson in Charleston Stage's 1999 production of To Kill a Mockingbird. He’s been seen in both productions of The Seat of Justice as Thurgood Marshall, the Prince of Darkness himself in Dracula, Walter Lee in A Raisin in the Sun, Denmark Vesey in Denmark Vesey: Insurrection, Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, and Rev. Reginald Mabry in Chicken & Biscuits. His directing credits include Black Pearl Sings! with Charleston Stage, Porgy and Bess, A Raisin in the Sun, and the gospel musical Crowns with Footlight Players, Of Mice and Men with Flowertown Players, and Fences with Art Forms & Theatre Concepts. A few stage acting credits include Fences (Troy), The Piano Lesson (Boy Willie), God’s Trombones, A Raisin in the Sun (Walter Lee) for Art Forms & Theatre Concepts, Citizen: An American Lyric (Citizen 5), Choir Boy (Headmaster Morrow) and Sweat (Brucie) with Pure Theatre, and King Lear (Edmund). He’s done numerous television commercials including national spots for Bud Lite Seltzer and Medicare Insurance. Television credits include a recurring role on Lifetime’s Army Wives and as Sheriff Thompson on the TVOne series Fatal Attraction. Clay will be seen in the costarring role of Leonard in an upcoming episode of the NBC series Found. Clay has also performed as a featured concert narrator for Low Country Voices during this year’s Martin Luther King Holiday celebration. He also performed with the prestigious Colour of Music Orchestra during concerts in Nashville, TN, Columbia, SC, and Sacramento, CA. He’s also performed in the same capacity with the Charleston Gospel Choir and the Spiritual Ensemble in productions throughout the Lowcountry. Clay is a member of Charleston Stage's Board of Trustees.

Clyde MoserCLYDE MOSER (Mr. Wiggins / The Ghost of Christmas Past)
Clyde is a Charleston-based educator, director, and performer. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a Master's in Teaching Performing Arts. He has performed in many shows around Charleston. He is also a board member of The Void Theater Company and the Advocacy board member for the South Carolina Chapter of the International Thespian Society. He is currently the Theatre Director at Wando High School. Some of the shows you might have seen Clyde in around Charleston include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Prom, Wild Party, The Full Monty, Once on this Island, The Addams Family, RENT, and A Chorus Line.

Renna MosesRENNA MOSES (Ignorance / Belle's Daughter 1 / Townsperson / Homeless)
Renna is a 6th grade student at Charleston County School of the Arts, majoring in Vocal. She has been a member of Charleston Stage Performance Troupe for two years. Renna will be playing the role of Belle’s Daughter / Ignorance in A Christmas Carol for the 2nd year. She enjoys singing and acting and playing piano for 6 years; she also loves softball and going to the golf course with her father. Renna participates on the Greek language and dance team at her church, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in downtown Charleston. Her older sister, Maria, also attends School of the Arts. Renna visits family in Tennessee and Greece every year and is so thankful for her supportive family and friends. She is very grateful for the acting and vocal teachers that have supported her in recent years, and for this incredible opportunity to continue to learn alongside the amazing actors in A Christmas Carol.

Dayna NeversDAYNA NEVERS (Caroline)
Dayna, a Connecticut transplant, is absolutely ecstatic to be back with Charleston Stage this season. She currently is an English educator and earned her Master’s Degree in Secondary English Education/Curriculum Instruction and Design. Her greatest passions lie in music, theater and dance. Her favorite credits include: Young Frankenstein (Inga), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Dorthy), Full Monty (Pam), The Addams Family (Ancestor/Bride), The Prom (Angie) and A Christmas Carol (Caroline). Dayna is continually grateful for the support of her friends and family as she continues to inspire her students and pursue her passions in music and theater.

Ada PesaventoADA PESAVENTO (Want / Belle's Daughter 2 / Townsperson / Homeless)
Ada is a 4th grade student at Orange Grove Elementary School and a 6th generation Charlestonian. She loves reading and spending time with her family and friends. Ada is really enjoying her second year as a member of Charleston Stage’s Performance Troupe. She is very grateful for the opportunity to be performing in A Christmas Carol for the second year in a row and she hopes to be able to do it again very soon at the Dock Street Theatre.

 

Gavin RamosGAVIN RAMOS (Peter Cratchit / Townsperson / Homeless)
Gavin is an 8th grade student at Camp Road Middle School and is thrilled to join the talented cast of A Christmas Carol in his debut performance with Charleston Stage. Gavin relocated to Charleston from Southern California 3 years ago and that is when he found his love of the theater. His debut role with James Island Players was Oliver in Oliver! and has since performed in Bye Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods Jr, Fiddler on the Roof, The Little Mermaid Jr and Hello Dolly. He has loved joining Charleston Stage’s Performance Troupe this year and looks forward to many more years of learning and performing. Gavin would like to thank Charleston Stage for this amazing opportunity and his family and friends for all the love and support they have given him.

Kameron Rojas-SchuenemanKAMERON ROJAS-SCHUENEMAN (Jacob Marley / Fezziwig / Topper / Mourner 1 / Poulterer)
Kameron is so excited to be a Resident Actor with Charleston Stage for their 47th Season! An actor, director, and teaching artist from Chicago, Kam graduated this past May with his B.F.A. in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University's School of Theatre Arts. Recently, he performed at the Dock Street Theatre in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Perchik) and A YEAR WITH FROG & TOAD (Lizard/Squirrel/Father Frog). Previous regional credits include BRING IT ON (Assistant Director) and Baayork Lee's company of A CHORUS LINE (Paul) at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. He would like to thank all of his family, friends, and mentors who have supported him throughout the years and helped him to achieve his dream of becoming a professional theatre artist. Eliza SargentELIZA SARGENT (Fan / Belinda Cratchit / Ghoul / Townsperson / Homeless)
Eliza, a 7th grader at Moultrie Middle School, is honored for her return performance in A Christmas Carol with Charleston Stage. She loves to sing, dance, and act, and is grateful for the training she receives as a member of Charleston Stage’s Performance Troupe. She is an honor roll student, and a member of Jr. Beta and Women In Charge. She runs cross country and track with the Mt. Pleasant Track Club. In her spare time you can find her nose in a book, watching Gilmore Girls or attempting to learn Portuguese. She would like to thank the amazing Charleston Stage actors and staff, her loyal friends, and dear family for all their support and encouragement.

Dominick VentrellaDOMINICK VENTRELLA (Bob Cratchit / D'Artagnan / Ghoul)
Dominick is delighted to be returning to Charleston Stage as a Resident Actor for its 47th season! A recent graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Dominick received his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, as well as the 2020 WCSU Theatre Arts Acting Award. Abigail (Abby) is absolutely thrilled to join Charleston Stage as a Resident Actor for their 47th Season! Originally from Allentown, New Jersey, Abby recently earned her B.A. in Theatre from DeSales University in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Most recently she was seen as Tzeitel (Fiddler on the Roof), and a Bird Girl (A Year with Frog and Toad) at the Dock Street Theatre. Some of her other previous and most favorite credits include Maria (The Sound of Music), Drowsy (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Olivia (Twelfth Night). Abby is incredibly grateful for the continued support of her four sisters, twin brother, wonderful parents, friends, and her DeSales family. Camille WashingtonCAMILLE WASHINGTON (Boy Scrooge / Oliver Twist / Townsperson / Homeless)
Camille is thrilled to join the A Christmas Carol family! Her previous credits include The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Maxine). Camille is an eighth grader at Marrington Middle School of the Arts, and a member of Charleston Stage’s Performance Troupe for the past four years. In addition to theatre she loves drawing, acting, singing and dancing. Camille would like to thank her family and friends for their guidance and support and the teachers at Charleston Stage for giving her such a fun and amazing experience.

 

Eddie WeaverEDDIE WEAVER (Young Scrooge / Vicar / Townsperson)
Eddie is thrilled to be returning for Season 47 with the Charleston Stage family! An Atlanta native, Eddie graduated from Columbus State University with his B.A. in Theatre Performance. Previous credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Constable), Chicken & Biscuits (Kenny Mabry), A Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge), Once on This Island (Agwe), 70's: More Than a Decade (Lead Vocalist). Eddie would like to send his appreciation and gratitude to his family, friends, teachers and professors who have poured so much into him over the years. Brooklyn WilliamsBROOKLYN WILLIAMS (Tiny Tim)
Brooklyn is an enthusiastic fifth grade student at Howe Hall Arts Infused Magnet School, with a passion for singing, dancing, and musical theatre. She is a proud member of the Charleston Stage Performance Troupe and also participates in her school’s theatre program, AIMS Players. In Spring 2023, Brooklyn made her acting debut as Little Ti Moune and Young Storyteller in Charleston Stage’s MainStage production of Once On This Island. Since then, she has played Jib in Finding Nemo Jr. and Tiny Tim in last year’s A Christmas Carol. She is excited to reprise her role as Tiny Tim this year!
